Our Management Team

Successful business experience and a passion for all things aeronautical – the love of aviation spreads throughout Vincent Aviation’s management team and directors.

About Us

Peter Vincent is Managing Director and founder of Vincent Aviation. But the company would not operate if it were not for its dedicated and hard working team.

Jill Hatchwell - Executive Director of Vincent Aviation

Jill holds BCA and ACA qualifications and has held a variety of senior financial advisory roles in both government and private sectors in New Zealand. She has been a director and company secretary of a variety of public and private New Zealand companies. Tracey joined us in June 2006 as Financial Controller for Vincent Aviation's New Zealand and Australian operations. Tracey is a Chartered Accountant who has both national and international experience across a wide range of industries and organisations.

Kevin Pengelly - General Manager Darwin

Kevin has an interesting history in both Aviation and the
Medical field. Being both a commercial pilot and a trained nurse, he has moved
between both industries frequently over the years. Experienced also in hospital
management, he decided it was time to combine the two and fly a desk arriving in Darwin with his wife Lynne in March 2007 to manage the fast developing Vincent Aviation Base in the Northern Territory.

Kevin believes that maintaining absolute safety and quality even if it costs the user slightly more is the best formula for success in the intense and competitive environment of aviation.

Cameron Marchant - Check and Training Manager Darwin

As the Manager of Training & Checking, Cameron brings to our team a wealth of flight training experience garnered over a diverse flying career which has focused on the development of pilots in several different environments.  Initially a civil Grade One Flight Instructor, Cameron then served in the Australian Army as a reconnaissance helicopter pilot and military Qualified Flying Instructor for eight years, seeing operational service during this tenure.  Dedicated to the vocational training aspects of the aviation industry, Cameron’s role in the Company is to ensure that the flight standards of our pilots are the best that they can be and to ensure that each Company pilot receives the development that they need to make this a reality.

Scott Werleman - Chief Pilot Darwin

Scott began flying at the age of 17 and has worked in the industry for 21 years. In that time he has operated for the Northern Territory Police both as a police officer and pilot.  His experience on the Beech 1900 began with Impulse Airlines.  He then joined Qantas mainline flying Boeing 737's before adopting a different career path in aviation with Vincent Aviation as the Chief Pilot and back to operating the Beech 1900.
