Safety
All aircraft in Vincent Aviation’s fleet are maintained to the highest possible standard. This is ensured by well-developed in-house quality assurance systems which, along with sound maintenance procedures, support established regulatory standards. Vincent Aviation has established its own maintenance facilities in Wellington and Darwin, overcoming any need for contracted maintenance providers.
Turbine engines have been selected where available because of their proven reliability, which reduces any chance of mechanical failure.
Twin-engine aircraft provide reassurance of flight capability even in the unlikely event of mechanical problems in one engine.
Reinforcing this approach, Vincent Aviation uses two pilots for the larger Dash 8 and Beech 1900 aircraft, and provides a choice of one or two pilots in the smaller aircraft.
Fleet aircraft were chosen for their toughness when facing harsher weather and climate. Compared to similar sized aircraft they are relatively unaffected by extremes of temperature. All aircraft are fitted with weather radar and full instrument capability.
When it comes to passenger comfort, the larger Dash 8 and Beech 1900D aircraft again compare very well to aircraft of similar size. They have stand-up headroom and roomier passenger cabins (there is room for your laptop). Vincent Aviation’s aircraft are also relatively quiet. Combine this with low vibration levels and the capability to fly at high altitudes – above turbulence – and your flight is guaranteed as comfortable as possible.

Flexibility
Vincent Aviation can tailor services to your requirements and has aircraft suitable for carrying a mix of passengers and freight.
The Beech 1900C, for example, is readily reconfigured to be a partial or full freight-carrying aircraft. All Vincent Aviation aircraft have separate, large rear doors ideally suited to large freight loads. These features enable Vincent Aviation to accommodate unusual, over-size loads, such as helicopter rotor blades or large drill bits.
The superior performance of Vincent Aviation aircraft compared to other aircraft of similar size allows them to fly into otherwise inaccessible places. As an example, the Beech 1900can safely operate on shorter, narrower, airstrips with more passengers on board and will land or take off on gravel, grass and rough airstrips.
Independent reception and hangar facilities at both Wellington and Darwin mean secure, confidential passenger and freight handing. This is essential for such services as transporting VIPs, currency consignments or prisoners.
