Operating Approvals

Vincent Aviation is approved for domestic air operations in both Australia (with its Australian AOC issued by CASA in November 2002) and New Zealand and is also licensed by CASA and NZ CAA to operate internationally from the Darwin base.

Using our Fleet

Vincent Aviation is approved by CAA (NZ), CASA (Australia) and UNTAET (Timor Leste) under the following approvals:
NZCAA, “Airline Air Operators Certificate”
allowing air transport operations under Part 121, Part 125 and Part 135 rules from bases in Wellington and Darwin (this includes both scheduled passenger and charter flights).
NZCAA, “Maintenance Organisation Certificate”
allowing maintenance on aircraft up to 13,610 kg from our Wellington and Darwin bases.
CASA Australia “Foreign Air Operator Certificate”
allowing operation of F406 and B1900 aircraft from Darwin to any point outside Australia.
CASA Australia “Air Operators Certificate”
allowing operation of F406 and B1900 aircraft domestically within Australia.
CASA Australia “Regular Passenger Transport Certificate”
allowing operation of scheduled passenger services utilising F406 and B1900 aircraft domestically within Australia.
Approval from UNTAET allowing domestic operation in Timor Leste (formerly East Timor).
Approval from the Wellington Airport company to operate outside the airport curfew restrictions.
Of the four dispensations awarded, and Vincent Aviation holds two of these because of the quiet aircraft it operates.
Approval under CAA (via the operations manual) to drop articles from aircraft.
This has ranged from survival equipment in emergency situations to engine parts for large commercial fishing vessels.
